Kinetics - experience

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-EttQDeVBc&feature=related

Kinetic sculptures occupy a space with movement. A different kind of interaction and reaction is experienced with the fact that the pieces are moving - like clockwork, naturally or randomly. Our instinct makes us curious - why and how it is moving.

I want to step back and look at kinetic sculptures and work them out, realise their rythmn. Sometimes its not possible to do so. And thats fine by me.

Len Lye is an artist that interested me. Dohis sculptures have a rythmn? sometimes the sound of them can be rhythmical. Thats what i like about Lye.
